The Candour FR™ Coverall is made from a unique combination of non-woven fabrics and meets with CE Type 5 & 6 protection which means that it is resistant to noxious dust and splash and also anti-static to meet with EN1149-1. The Candour FR™ Coverall is also now Fire Retardant to EN533 Index 1.

The fabric is breathable and therefore very comfortable to wear - even for long periods of time. The Candour FR ™ Coverall is ideal for a wide range of applications and has been designed to be both practical and comfortable with a 2-way zip, knitted cuffs and a generous cut.

What does FR mean?
FR Stands For Flame Retardant. The Candour FR™ Coverall meets with standard EN533 Index 1/0 for flame retardancy. This means that the Candour FR™ Coverall can be used in conjunction with EN533 Index 2 or 3 garments to offer protection from sparks and flame risk applications.

The Candour FR™ Coverall is a CE Type 5/6 garment which means that it is resistant to noxious dust and limited splash. It also has anti-static properties which comply with EN1149-1.

Added chemical protection Many wearers of Candour FR™ textile garments are also at risk from chemical splash or noxious dust, however in risk assessments they have decided to protect from flames instead of chemicals. The Candour FR™ Coverall allows both flame protection and chemical protection. Added garment protection When an FR garment comes into contact with flames it needs to berefire-proofed or thrown away. With textiles this is very expensive. In using the Candour FR™ Coverall as a first line of defence from flames, the wear on the textile garment will be reduced considerably thus offering long-term cost savings to the end user The Candour FR™ Fabric is extremely versatile offering protection from chemicals, dust and flames.
